Collaborate with Dell internal groups and sister agencies to create and present concepts and content for micro sites, email, banners, video and other assets.
Key Accomplishment Lead writer for the Trailblazer biographies in Take Your Own Path, Dell’s first global branding campaign.

Freelance Writer – Austin – 2004 to 2008
Direct mail, ads, brochures, email and online content for Dell, Freescale, AMD, Keller Williams Realty, Shell Oil and Premiere Global.  
Key Accomplishments – Worked with AMD CIO Fred Mapp to create Mapping IT: Seven Initiatives for Success, a strategy column that became a book of the same name. Created ads and served as ghost writer for Freescale Vice President David Perkins during the 2005 launch of QUICC Engine technology, a launch he described as the most successful in company history.

Email campaigns, banners, direct mail and ads. New tagline for successful branding campaign. Usability analysis and content for online sales systems.
Key Accomplishment – Multi-channel campaign increased sales 33% in 2003.

Interactive marketing campaigns including micro sites, banners, emails, ads, direct mail, and brochures for Newsstand, MasterCard, and Click Commerce.

Technology Writer – SicolaMartin – Austin – 2000 to 2001
Ads, brochures, white papers and case studies for Citrix Systems.
Key Accomplishment – Case study for California school district featured on the Citrix website.

Senior Writer – Bazzirk/T3 – Austin – 1993 to 2000
Direct mail, newsletters, brochures and catalogs for Dell. Traveled to interview customers for testimonials and case studies. Hired and trained writers and served as creative lead.
Key Accomplishments Lead writer for the redesign of the Dell small business catalog, which grew from less than 2 million to more than 10 million in circulation in one year. Addy-winning direct mail to introduce the Dell Preferred Accounts Division. Direct mail and brochures to launch the Latitude and Inspiron laptop lines. Ghost writer for Michael Dell.

Wrote, designed and edited vendor-specific computer publications. Interviewed developers and end-users for case studies and how-to articles.
Key Accomplishment Created AutoCAD World monthly magazine.
